LAMB OF GOD will release their fifth studio album WRATH, on February 24th, 2009. The record will be released in North America by Epic and will be the first release with their new label Roadrunner, outside of North America. WRATH is produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York, Virginia, and New Hampshire.

LAMB OF GOD finished the touring cycle on the Grammy nominated album Sacrament at the end of 2007. The two-year trek was documented in the now certified Gold DVD Walk with Me in Hell and culminated with the band headlining arenas across the US last December.

The band has taken the entirety of 2008 off the road to focus on the writing process for WRATH.

"This album is going to surprise a lot of people," comments drummer Chris Adler. "Typically bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. WRATH needs no hype. We have topped ourselves and on February 24th you will feel it."

As always, LAMB OF GOD will embark on an extensive tour that will cover the globe. As previously announced, the band will be supporting Metallica on the December leg of their tour. The first leg of the WRATH world tour will start in Finland on February 6th and will encompass dates in the UK, Australia, and Japan.

They'll be in indonesia, tennis indoor senayan on 9th March 2009. Just be there, and bang your head off!

Italian hard rock band LACUNA COIL, which offers the dual vocals of male singer Andrea Ferro and female vocalist Cristina Scabbia, recently spoke to Revolver magazine about the group's new album, "Shallow Life", tentatively due in April via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded in September/October at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, California with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with LINKIN PARK, TRAPT, AVRIL LAVIGNE, PEARL JAM, TRUST COMPANY and DURAN DURAN.

"It's definitely us, but the energy is completed different and the whole album feels more 'rock,'" stated Scabbia." I think that's because, as an artist, you travel a lot and you listen to the radio and you're exposed to all these different styles that rub off on you. To me, this is the perfect mixture between our old European sound and something more modern." She added, "Some of it's very heavy. The most amazing this is, we've been able to improve everything about LACUNA COIL without taking away anything good or doing something that doesn't belong."

Regarding the band's collaboration with Gilmore, Cristina said, "He helped us all find our strengths and work with them to be even better. Sometimes when you're used to something, you get stuck in your own process and you don't see the big picture. So when someone from the outside comes in, they can give you a completely different opinion that you don't have because you're alwys stuck in there."

"Shallow Life" will be LACUNA COIL's first concept album as all the songs address superficiality and the discontent and unhappiness it can cause. "It's more against the superficial lifestyle in general, but not regarding celebrities," singer Andrea Ferro previously told Rock Sound magazine. "You can talk about celebrities, but you can also talk about everyday people. It's more a reflection on life itself, and especially on the way you lead your life in a superficial way."

Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "I Like It", "Spellbound", "I Survive" and "I Won't Tell You".

Randy Blythe is going to sell his Grammy nomination medallion to help Myotonic Dystrophy. In case you were wondering, this makes him the man.

Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe has spoken exclusively to Metal Hammer about auctioning his Grammy nomination medallion to raise money for Myotonic Dystrophy. Randy’s auction will take place on January 28th and will last for ten days in the run up to this year’s Grammy awards. See Randy’s auction and the rock nominations for this year’s Grammy’s.

“A friend of mine has 2 sons with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal disease. He started a foundation, the Stone Circle Of Friends, and I’m auctioning it off to raise money for that. When I Heard, the first thing that popped in my mind was what Flava Flav from Public Enemy said “Who the fuck needs a goddamn Grammy anyway?” I didn’t care. This way it’s doing something good.”

Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has announced that he plans to enter the recording studio later this year, to record his first solo album. He claims that he has written around fourty to fifty songs so far and is choosing which he wants to be featured on the record.

Corey Taylor states: "It's something that I'd like to do purely for myself. It's something that I need to release before I can think about moving on to anything else… In both SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR I'm slightly limited to how I can write and indeed what I can write about. The beauty of doing a solo album is that I can write whatever type of song I want."

I think it will be suck and so fckin lame. Stop doing sh*t, corey. Just play your best for Slipknot.

Michael Heart, a songwriter and singer who wrote and composed this song in January 2009. This song tells us about how suffer people of gaza today, but they still never give up, and never go down. When i heard this song for first time, i felt like kicked right in the face. Coz, sometimes when trouble comes around, i just give up without a fight. But they in gaza, when everyday is hell, fighting for their life, trying to survive, just asking help to Allah, their and my only god! Keep fighting my brothers and sisters. God knows who is right!

My respect for Michael.

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN (Song for Gaza)
(Composed by Michael Heart)
Copyright 2009

A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive

They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

I just got this shit about 2 weeks ago. Damn, it's so awesome. It's all about sorrow, darkness, satan, anger, and loneliness. This is a concept album, based on the life of infamous 15th century French nobleman, Gilles De Rais, who fought alongside Joan of Arcand accumulated great wealth before becoming a serial killer, sexual deviant and Satanist. The title of the album derives from a valediction vocalist Dani filth once used to sign a letter.
There're 13 track which typically COF's sound, with orchestra and choir. Some track are started with narration.
I love all the track, but i'm listening to The death of love, lil bit sound like Nymphetamine
